Jeff’s first book, Annual Fundraising Plans Made Simple: A Road Map for Community Colleges and Small Development Shops, was released in the fall of 2016 by CASE Publishing. It has been CASE’s top-selling book in its category since. Now in its second printing, Jeff’s book has been sold in more than 25 countries and has become a solid resource for fundraising professionals across the globe.

Prior to joining eAdvancement, Jeff most recently served as Vice President of Foundation and Alumni Relations at Erie Community College (ECC) in Buffalo, NY. Under his leadership, the Foundation increased its assets more than 200 percent while also tripling its endowment. Jeff has also served in chief fundraising roles at a variety of institutions in the arts and cultural and healthcare fields. During his tenure at these organizations, he completed several successful capitals, major gifts and annual giving campaigns. He received 1995’s National Excellence in Annual Giving Award from the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP).
Jeff is a recurring featured speaker at national CASE and Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) conferences. He has been a panelist and moderator at numerous SUNY conferences and summits and has also developed and hosted webinars for CASE, SUNY, AFP and AcademicWorks Blackbaud. In 2017, Jeff was a contributing author for the annual giving module in the AFP’s “Fundamentals of Fundraising Course” Participants Manual, which is distributed worldwide to students enrolled in the program.
Jeff was honored as 2012’s Western New York Fundraising Executive of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and has served as an adjunct faculty member in Canisius College’s Fundamentals of Fund Raising program. A graduate of the Executive Leadership Institute at the Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University, he was one of four people nationally selected to serve as a facilitator at the Executive Leadership Institute in 2000
